Harpenden Cricket Club News story

22 May 2020

Dear All

As you may be aware the government has allowed cricket clubs to open their facilities under some very strict rules so to make sure that everyone at HCC is kept safe you will need to follow the strict booking procedure to be able to use the nets. If you would like more information on the ECB’s guidance the full guidance can be found here.

Please be aware that a senior or junior member is only permitted to book one net session a week in advance however you can book on the day if there are still any available slots. This is to give all members the opportunity to play some cricket. Junior members will need a supervising parent or guardian to be present.

To book you will be able to see the weeks booking sheet via this link, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wbEwPPTUlXZWnnBdPulFzQ4Gnox1a8jOHlKeekQ27J0/edit?usp=sharing , which will be kept up to date throughout the week.

This week we are trialling the system this weekend so please select which day you would like and we will assign you a time. We are starting with a small amount of time slots however we will endeavour to increase the amount of slots if the demand is there.

To book this you must email, hccnetbooking@gmail.com

You will be sent a confirmation email confirming your time slot with any further details which you must have access to whilst at the nets.

Please be aware that if you are not able to produce the confirmation email then you will be asked to leave and if you see that a slot is free and simply turn up that you will again be asked to leave.

These rules are in place simply to keep everyone safe not only those using the nets but the members volunteering their time to let you have the opportunity to play.

Thank you and most importantly stay safe.

The Exec Committee.
