Following the success of last year's event, we are once again hosting a FREE Digital Scoring Workshop at the Clubhouse. This workshop is aimed at any club members who wish to learn more about scoring using the ECB's Play Cricket digital scoring app.

Scoring is a vital, rewarding, and highly valued skill essential to every cricket match. Our club relies on volunteer members to take on this role. While scoring can seem daunting, especially if you are new to it or haven't scored in a while, this workshop will provide the necessary guidance.

The ECB is encouraging all clubs to move away from traditional book scoring towards the Play Cricket app, with the ultimate goal of eliminating paper scoring entirely. This digital transition is beneficial for everyone, as it allows managers, players, parents, and county boards to track player performance instantly with the click of a button.

We are looking to build a legion of volunteer scorers who can help on match days to ensure we have the resources available to hit and maintain these ECB targets going forward.

We encourage any members, parents, guardians, and grandparents who plan on attending Junior or Senior matches and would like to help with scoring to attend this workshop.
The bar will be open, so just bring yourselves and your device and grab a drink.
