
The 1st team earned a draw on The Common despite a tough time in the field as Bishop’s Stortford amassed an eye-watering 425-9. Ash Sivarajah took 3 wickets. In reply, Scott Galloway fell just 7 runs short of a century, Alex Gosling and Nick Lamb also contributing significantly in the runs department:

The Women’s 1st team enjoyed a convincing 144-run victory over Bedford. Lottie Taylor scored a half-century:
Harpenden: 315-9 off 35 overs (L Taylor 73)
Bedford: 171-4 off 35 overs
The 2nd team went down to Old Elizabethans by 84 runs. Jack Doyle, Will Downes and Joe Basquille took 3 wickets apiece with Mike Howard and skipper Dom Tulett offering resistance with the bat:
Old Elizabethans: 230 all out off 49.4 overs (Doyle 3-26, Downes 3-40, Basquille 3-50)
Harpenden: 146 all out off 38.1 overs (M Howard 43, Tulett 33)
The 3rd team took care of business with a 106-run defeat of Watford Town 2s. Jack Killen struck 85 with the bat and Matthew Dugmore claimed another 5-fer with the ball:
Harpenden: 230-8 off 50 overs (Killen 85, G Taylor 40)
Watford Town: 124 all out off 37.5 overs (Dugmore 5-17, Bissett 2-24, Harvey 2-28)
The Women’s 3rd team beat Cokenach by 3 wickets:
Cokenach: 124-6 off 25 overs
Harpenden: 126-7 off 20.2 overs
The 4th team had to settle for a 6-wicket defeat against Ickleford. Anuj Behl top-scored with yet another half-century:
Harpenden: 183-9 off 40 overs (Behl 59)
Ickleford: 187-4 off 37.2 overs
The 5th team kept their revival going after a 39-run victory over Offley & Stopsley. Cam Holland scored a half-century and Ravi Chittimalla prised out 4 wickets:
Harpenden: 212-7 off 40 overs (Holland 43, Bailey 31 not out)
Offley & Stopsley: 173 all out off 39.1 overs (Chittimalla 4-35, Mitchell 3-17)
The 6th team earned a narrow 2-wicket victory against Studham. Om Dam grabbed 3 wickets before Ted Gurney and Ethan Sutton batted with great maturity and recovered a parlous scoreline of 41-8 to get us over the line:
Studham: 104 all out off 21.2 overs (Om Dam 3-39, Zain Rauf 2-5)
Harpenden: 105-8 off 34.3 overs (Gurney 45 not out, Ethan Sutton 22 not out)
The 7th team struggled a little against Hatch End, going down by 125 runs. Liam Roche claimed 3 wickets:
Hatch End: 201-9 off 40 overs (Roche 3-43)
Harpenden: 76 all out off 23 overs
