We nominated Steve Whittle in the category 'Metro Bank Champion of Girls’ Cricket'. Sadly, we were unsuccessful. My only comment is that whoever won that category must be truly outstanding to have beaten Steve.

We also put forward Chris Marsden for ‘Official of the Year’ and I’m delighted to say he won. Chris and Sybil had a wonderful day out at Lord's on the 25th September and here is a photo of Chris receiving his award from Herts Chairman, our very own Geoff Newman.

Well done Chris - richly deserved.
