I'm delighted to announce that at the Herts League Captains' meeting on Wednesday, Harpenden CC won the President's award for Hertfordshire Club of the Year, 2024.

This is a fitting recognition of last year's stellar season, with our first team winning the Premier League title, our second team winning Division 2A, and our third team winning Division 4B. Our 4ths, 5ths and 6ths all finished in the top 4 and our Wizards won half of their friendlies. Our Women's first team won their league and were unbeaten, and all our boys' and girls' teams performed very well, with our U15 girls crowned County Champions. We also became a hub for disability cricket in Hertfordshire.

We are immensely proud to have won this prestigious award against 130 other clubs in the league set-up, but it couldn't have been achieved without the tireless work of all the Harpenden Cricket Club family, especially the very many volunteers who ensure that we are all part of the best club in the county.
