We're delighted to be able to inform you that George Garrett is returning to play for the club next season.

George played all his Junior cricket at Harpenden but was always destined for a much bigger stage.

He captained the first team at Shrewsbury School and then became a professional, spending four years at Warwickshire CCC and two years at Kent CCC. He also played Premier League cricket for Shrewsbury in the Birmingham League and more recently was the professional for Sevenoaks in the Kent Premier League.

George is returning to the club he grew up with, and we couldn’t be more pleased that he is coming back.

A very warm welcome from everyone at HCC, George.
