On Saturday afternoon, Harpenden CC’s 1st team romped to a comfortable 7-wicket win over Bishop's Stortford. With Totteridge losing narrowly to Flitwick, our boys took an unassailable lead in the Premiership Division. 81 points clear and with only 75 points available in the final three games, Harpenden are Champions for the second year in a row.
Last season the team became Champions with one week to spare; this year they have completed the job a full three weeks early.
Congratulations to skipper James Latham and all the squad on a fantastic season. We are very proud of their achievements. They are a credit to the cricket club.
